VMAC’s annual Family Day gathering is one of the highlights of the year, bringing coworkers and their families together to enjoy a weekend packed with fun, food, and connection. This year’s event was a huge success, thanks to the incredible energy of our community and the generosity of our sponsors, who provided the prizes and gifts that made the day extra special. A special note of appreciation to VMAC’s very own, Pam Henselin, for all her efforts to make this event so successful.
A Day Full of Activities
There was no shortage of laughter and friendly competition at this year’s VMAC Family Day weekend. Families took part in a wide variety of activities that offered something for everyone:
- The corn shucking competition had contestants racing against the clock to prove their skills in a surprisingly intense showdown.
- Kids and adults alike tested their speed and agility on the obstacle course.
- Oversized garden games, including giant Jenga, sparked plenty of good-natured rivalry.
- Large adult hamster balls racing down the hill quickly became a crowd favorite, with cheers and laughter echoing across the field.
- Younger guests enjoyed the cookie decorating station and the temporary tattoo booth, leaving with creative designs and sticky fingers.
- And throughout the day, excitement built for the door prize draws, which saw many families walk away with something special.
- The weekend would not be complete without the music by Tyler with his guitar at the campfire.

Each prize, whether it was a practical tool, a delicious meal, or a fun gift, helped make the VMAC Family Day extra special. Families walked away with smiles, stories, and in many cases, something wonderful to take home.
A Celebration of Community
VMAC Family Day is about more than games and prizes. It’s a celebration of the people who make VMAC strong - our coworkers, their families, and the partners who support us every day. This year’s event showcased the power of community, teamwork, and generosity.
